Address validation

Addresso validates customer shipping addresses against authoritative sources, including the official Austrian address register (BEV Adressregister) and address data sourced from OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License (ODbL).

German state address registers

German addresses are also validated against the official cadastral address files the federal states publish as open data. Their licences require each state to be named as the source:

Pickup station data

DHL Packstation, Paketshop, and Filiale data is sourced from the DHL Location Finder API.

Austrian Post pickup point data is sourced from Österreichische Post AG public datasets.
